Modena, anni ’80. Provincia ricca, benessere diffuso, città felice. Solo in apparenza. Nelle campagne circostanti, poco alla volta, vengono trovati i corpi straziati di giovani italiane: sono state uccise e abbandonate in fossi o nei ruderi di vecchi casolari. Le vittime sono quasi tutte tossicodipendenti, diventate prostitute per necessità. L’ultima vittima è del 1995. Alla fine saranno una decina di casi, tutti irrisolti
Ora la loro storia e la caccia all’assassino vengono raccontati dal documentario Il Mostro di Modena. In onda martedì 11 e mercoledì 12 giugno alle 22.00 su Crime+Investigation (in esclusiva su Sky al canale 119 di Sky), il docu-film verrà presentato in anteprima nazionale a Modena presso il Cinema Raffaello mercoledì 5 giugno alle 21.00.

Il Mostro di Modena è scritto e diretto da Gabriele Veronesi, Prodotto da Taiga / Bue Snc, sostenuto dalla Regione Emilia Romagna e dall'Emilia Romagna Film Commission, con il patrocinio del Comune di Modena.

Modena, 1980s. a rich province, widespread prosperity, a happy city. Only in appearance. In the surrounding countryside, little by little, the tortured bodies of young Italians are found: they were killed and abandoned in ditches or in the ruins of old farmhouses. The victims are almost all drug addicts, become prostitutes out of necessity. The last victim is from 1995. In the end there will be about ten cases, all of which are unresolved.
Now their story and the hunt for the murderer are told by the documentary Il Mostro di Modena. On Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 June at 10.00 pm on Crime + Investigation (exclusively on Sky at channel 119), the documentary will be presented in national preview in Modena at the Cinema Raffaello on Wednesday 5 June at 9.00 pm.

Il Mostro di Modena is written and directed by Gabriele Veronesi, produced by Taiga / Bue Snc, supported by the Emilia Romagna Region and the Emilia Romagna Film Commission, under the patronage of the Municipality of Modena.
